THIN VENEER
Thin veneer is ¾"-2" thick stone, typically used for application in the interior/exterior of houses, fireplaces and other wall applications where weight and installation time are a factor. Thin veneer, because of its light weight (generally less than 15 lbs per square foot) does not require a weight bearing foundation.

Thin veneer is available in two product categories. Our "Hand Select Series" is naturally split, which means it is naturally sorted or split for ¾" to 2" thickness as it occurs in the quarry. Our "Diamond Select Series" is sawn thin using full thickness building stone.

"Hand Select" veneer is fairly flat in appearance and is available only in flats, with corners showing the 2" thickness of the stone. "Diamond Select" veneer provides a more textured appearance and is available in "L" shaped pieces that wrap around corners and give the appearance of a full thickness (4"-6") veneer stone. These veneers also have a sawn back that allow for quick and easy installation.
